My Blogroll
This is where I’ll be adding all of the blogs I read. I must thank Nessa (http://crazyasuka.wordpress.com) for the wonderful idea of making a page about blogs, instead of of the standard wordpress blogroll widget. This way I can add some information about the blog before I force you to go there.
It’s a nice idea, thanks Nessy.
This where I shall add them, ordered by ID (the order that I add them), except for a featured blog that may or may not be added in the future.
Maybe I’ll end up adding that blog twice… Anyway, here we go.
Featured blog:Empty! |
1. Lachy’s Blog – http://blog.shadowthief.com
I thought I’d add my blog first, in case you’re looking at my Wordpress.com, and not my real one. This gives me a chance to write about it too, to give you a little bit of insight as to what it’s actually about, and why not? While I add entries to this blog, I’m still reading them.
This blog can be about anything really, just whatever interesting things that I encounter throughout my daily life. Most likely, they’ll end up being about technology, computers, anime, maybe some music or even philosophical ideas. If I encounter anything funny, you can be sure it’ll be added as well.
There’s also a good chance I’ll be writing about my website, ShadowThief.com.
2. The World According to Me – http://crazyasuka.wordpress.com
This is my friend Nessa’s blog. We’ve had a bit of a tradtion since our friend started GrungeBlogs, in which several of the people from GrungeMedia.com started blogs, and we all used to visit them whenever we could. However, it got a bit spam filled, and it eventually was taken down while it was moved to a dedicated server, and was never put back up again.
Now, we’ve all be scattered around the Internet, and it’s up to us to recreate those links again, and create links to completely new bloggers. This is the first step in building our blog network once again. This time, it will be better than ever before.
3. Akura’s Blog – http://iptbb.org/Akura/
This a blog of another friend, Akura. He is the founder and head developer of IPTBB, an open-source bulletin board. I am also one of the developers involved in the project. Akura, like me, is also interested in gaming, programming and web design. I started visiting his blog after he told me about it on Twitter, or maybe it was at my site? Simple enough explanation.
4. xkcd – http://xkcd.com
A webcomic about romance, maths, sarcasm and language… It really is hilarious to read, with recent issues and techy/scientific references.
5. AbhiTech – http://ad1987.blogspot.com/
I’m not exactly sure what I was looking for when I found this… It might have been about Google Wave. This is a technical blog about all recent advances in technology, mostly software (including a lot of open source projects.
). It provides tutorials for some scripts using CSS, PHP/MySQL, Javascript/AJAX and others as well. I haven;t actually looked at any just yet. I just find it interesting to read about recent updates in the software community.
It’s worth a look anyway.
6. Indexed – http://thisisindexed.com/
Another webcomic, this time graphing common issues and emotional states, into a mathematical/scientific form.
